Hope Hospital Salford
FK Group jointly handled the external envelope package as part of the £136 million of Salford’s Hope Hospital.
The works included Alphaton Terracotta rainscreen fitted to a steel framing system with integrated windows, and curtain walling to the link bridge areas. For the roof, the membrane system was laid onto concrete, and included a full tapered insulation scheme, applied to a double curved layout.
For extra resilience, all feature fascias and soffits were polyester powder coated.
