As with other projects in the education sector, the challenges we faced included working safely and efficiently within the confines of existing school facilities with a tight site footprint, which means we have a reduced lay down area for materials, and need to devise bespoke strategies for the delivery of materials and waste generation, to co-ordinate trades and maximise efficiency, while minimising waste on site. We also work closely with main contractors to facilitate a phased handover of the new facilities.
For King David High School, we installed the latest Mass Improved Kalzip roofing system to their bespoke design and specification.
