From carbon footprints to recyclable materials to health and safety to sustainability workshops; we take our commitment to the environment, and running socially responsible sites, very seriously.

We have a clear Sustainability Strategy, with established targets, and our ultimate aim is to be recognised as the leading provider of sustainable building envelope solutions. As proof of our commitment to the environment, we are members of Dcarbon8 and we became Planet Positive accredited in 2007.

Sustainability and Communication

Long term objective: Communicate our sustainability and carbon strategy.

Targets

• Hold Sustainability Workshops for our sub-contractors.
• Set up an award system for our employees.
• Develop a RIBA-certified Sustainability CPD and communicate to our six main customers. (The CPD will include carbon footprint analysis of built up Vs composite panels, integration of PV on roof space and implementation of green roofs onto buildings.)
• Publish an Interim Sustainability Report in September.
• Improve electronic communication on sustainability issues to our employees and our supply chain.

• LA10 average hours of training per year per employee by employee category.
