Materials Specification

Long term objective: Develop an independent sustainability, carbon specification and solutions guide.

Targets

• Formulate a common understanding of carbon foot-printing that can be utilised by the building sector.
• Join Battle McCarthy in an industry-wide seminar on developing sustainability metrics.
• Calculate the environmental impact of the materials we specify.
• Educate and advise design teams on material specification from a sustainability point of view.

Key Performance Indicators

• EN1 materials used by weight or volume.
• EN2 percentage of materials used that are recycled input materials.
